1. Petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the application for interim maintenance. Proceeding for interim monetary relief under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 was instituted in February, 2021. By order dated 20.07.2024 petitioner was directed to submit affidavit of assets in the form prescribed in Rajnesh vs. Neha and Anr.1

2. In light of the aforesaid fact, we are of the opinion petitioner herself has contributed to the delay. It is open to the petitioner to submit the affidavit of assets, if not already done, as expeditiously as possible and upon the said affidavit of assets being filed, learned Magistrate shall make all endeavour to dispose of the application for interim maintenance with utmost expedition.
