WPA 22078 of 2017 27.10.

Ct. No. 07 Rita Kullu Vs.

The Chairman, Life Insurance Corporation of India Ab and others.

--------------- Mr. Asis Kumar Laha.

... for the LIC.

1. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner, nor has any adjournment been sought, though Mr. Asis Kumar Laha, learned Advocate appearing for the LIC, is present.

2. Mr. Laha informed that the petitioner has already retired from service and has also handed over the vacant possession of the quarter allotted to her.

3. The petitioner filed the instant writ petition seeking an order to quash the order dated 19th July, 2017, directing her to vacate the quarter, as well as the order directing her to deposit the license fees.

4. Since the petitioner has already retired from service and has vacated the quarter allotted to her, I am of the view that the instant writ petition has become infructuous and no further interference is warranted. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of, without any order as to costs.
