1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

2. The petitioner claims that he had approached the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal (WBLRTT) with an application for ascertaining his rights in respect of a piece of land.

3. The WBLRTT by an order dated 16th December, 2019 passed in O.A. No. 2869 of 2019 (LRTT) directed the petitioner to submit a representation before the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas.

4. The Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas considered the said representation of the petitioner and his name has been entered in the Record of Rights. The private respondents continue to disturb the petitioner.

5. Kakdwip Police Station has filed a report dated 28th September, 2022 in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate, which is taken on record.

6. It appears therefrom that there is a long-standing property dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents that lead to friction and proceedings under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been drawn up.

7. Kakdwip Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the locale. The petitioner may approach a Civil Court for appropriate relief against the private respondents.

8. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

9. There will be no order as to costs.
