Learned advocate for the petitioner has prayed for direction for expediting the proceedings relating to CR Case No. 114 of 2022. Learned advocate submits that till date the examination under Section under Section 200 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has not been completed by the learned Magistrate and the next date has been fixed in the month of December, 2023. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner initiated the case in the year 2022 and till date without any remedy, I direct the learned Magistrate would complete the process of examination under Section 200 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on the next date so fixed. If the provisions of Section 202 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are to be invoked, the learned Magistrate would complete the same within a month from the said date and thereafter take his decision on the issue as to whether to proceed under Sections 203/204 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 3246 of 2023 is disposed of.
