Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner complains that in spite of informing the Inspector-in-Charge, Dholahat Police Station, no steps were taken. The main allegation is that the accused persons entered into the house of the petitioner, ransacked some of the materials and on raising hue and cry, they fled away.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Dholahat P.S. Case No. 608 of 2025 has been registered for investigation on 13.09.2025.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps by way of registration of FIR, I direct the police authorities to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 20987 of 2025 is disposed of. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
