The petitioner seeks an electricity connection for operation of a submersible pump set. It is admitted that the petitioner shall complete all necessary formalities, including the construction of a meter room and boring work.

WBSEDCL shall conduct an inspection of the site, and if it is found that all formalities have been duly complied with, electricity connection shall be provided to the petitioner, subject to resolution of any way-leave issues, if applicable.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon WBSEDCL to effect

electricity connection in favour of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from date of compliance with all requisite formalities by him.

Accordingly, WPA 20887 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
