1. Service report filed by the State be kept with the records.

2. The petitioner says that he is in custody for 180 days. The case has only been committed. There is no further progress. He has been falsely implicated. He prays for bail.

3. While opposing the prayer for bail, learned Advocates for the State and the de facto complainant draw our attention to the statement of the victim lady who is said to be mentally retarded. The victim clearly implicates the petitioner who is the brother-in-law of the victim lady. We have also seen the medical report.

4. Prima facie there appears to be sufficient incriminating evidence against this petitioner. In view thereof, we are not inclined to allow his prayer for bail, at this stage.

5. The application being CRM (DB) 2801 of 2024 is accordingly dismissed.
