Petitioners have filed this writ petition being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent no. 2 in considering and disposing of his application filed on December 15, 2022 being Annexure P-3 to this writ petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of the parties, this writ petition being WPA No. 20845 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2 to consider and dispose of the aforesaid application of the petitioner, in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order and after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the interested parties within two months from the date of communication of this order.

It is clarified that this court has not gone into the merits of the aforesaid application and the respondent no. 2 shall consider the same strictly in accordance with law.
