Case No. 85 of 2025 dated 19.07.2025.

State has produced the Case Diary which reflects that on conclusion of the investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted under Sections 85/316(2) of the BNS.

Having considered that the police authorities have taken the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion and the petitioner presently apprehends of threat at the behest of the accused persons, I am

of the opinion that in case any application is taken out under the relevant provisions of the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018, the learned Magistrate would call for a threat perception report, thereafter, pass necessary directions thereby rendering protection to the petitioner and her family members.

If there are further grievances of the petitioner, in that case, the petitioner would be at liberty to take out an appropriate application under Section 193 of the BNSS before the learned jurisdictional Magistrate.

The learned Magistrate would, in such circumstances, dispose of the application preferably within 45 days of filing of such application.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21075 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Case Diary be returned to the

learned advocate for the State.
