The petitioner complains of alleged inaction by the Keshpur Police Station, Paschim Medinipur. It appears that in respect of a dispute with regard to a land Title Suit No.661 of 2022 is pending and an order of injunction has been passed.

Since the dispute is primarily civil in nature, there is no reason for interference in the matter. This Court sees no inaction on the part of the Keshpur Police. However, Keshpur Police shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area. Keshpur Police shall also enforce any order that may be passed by the Civil Court on them in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report in the form of instructions dated 29th January, 2023 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Keshpur Police Station, Paschim Medinipur addressed to the State Advocate is taken on record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
