The present petitioner is the principal accused and husband of the victim who is in custody for more than one year and prays for bail on the ground of period of detention. 2.

The learned prosecutor raises objection.

Heard the submission of both the learned Advocates, perused the materials from the case diary and the contents of the dying declaration. However, the victim died after the said dying declaration on 10th January, 2025. Perused the post-mortem report which prima facie substantiates the cause of death as mentioned in the written complaint.

Considering the gravity of the offence and that the charge has not yet been framed and the father-in-law is still at large, this Court is not inclined to pass any favourable order to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail stands rejected. 6.
