1. The petitioners claim that the private respondents being the adjacent landowners are disturbing their peaceful possession and intimidated and are threatening them. They have complained to Matia Police Station.

2. Matia Police have filed a report dated 22nd September, 2022 in the form of instructions addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta, which is taken on record.

3. It appears therefrom that as many as four complaints and counter complaints have been registered as FIR and charge-sheets have been filed.

4. This Court finds no inaction on the part of Matia Police Station. They shall continue to keep vigil on the property and ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

5. The petitioners may approach the Civil Court for ascertaining the extent of their land and for the purpose of constructing a boundary wall.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
