Mr. Mit Guha Roy ...for the petitioner Mr. Jayanta Samanta, Mr. Supriya Majumder ...for the State The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the grievance raised in this writ petition has been sufficiently redressed with the registration of the First Information Report pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner. He further submits that the Investigating Agency may be directed to conclude the investigation at the earliest.

Since the First Information Report has been registered and the investigation is in progress, the concerned Investigating Officer is directed to conclude the investigation at the earliest.

In the event the petitioner is not satisfied with the progress of the investigation, the petitioner will be at liberty to approach the appropriate court in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
