Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the husband is in custody. The victim committed suicide after 11 years of marriage.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the postmortem report of the victim. He also draws the attention to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner. The postmortem report of the victim at this stage does not rule out homicidal death.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 4454 of 2022 is dismissed.
