Mr. Sougata Mitra, Mr. Nikhil Kumar Gupta, Ms. Soma Chakraborty ...for the petitioner Mr. Suman Ghosh, Mr. Sankha Prasad Roy ...for the State The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint on April 18, 2024 before the Inspector-in-Charge, Joypur Police Station, District-Purulia, but the police authorities have not taken any effective steps excepting registration of a First Information Report. The learned Advocate appearing for the State files a report of the Inspector-in-Charge, Joypur Police Station, dated September 17, 2024, which is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that in connection with the said First Information Report, Joypur P.S. Charge Sheet No. 52/2024 dated May 30, 2024, under Sections 341/323/326/308/ 326/308/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code has been filed.

In view thereof, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition and the instant writ petition stands disposed of.

It will be open to the petitioner to take appropriate steps before the concerned Court in accordance with law, if so advised.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
