Exception has been taken to the report of the Superintendent of Police, Krishnagar Police District. The report shall be treated as a communication under Section 157 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to the petitioner/complainant.

This Court is of the view that if the petitioner is not satisfied, he may take appropriate steps under the Code of Criminal Procedure in accordance with law. The Inspector-in-charge, Karimpur Police Station, Krishnagar Police District has indicated that a communication under Section 6(2) of the NIA Act, 2008 has been made to the Central Government. The Investigating Officer of the case shall complete the investigation into the Karimpur Police Station Case No. 225 of 2022 dated 12th September, 2022 in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from date.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
