We have considered the materials on record.

Allegation involves recovery of narcotics above commercial quantity. Trial has substantially progressed and date has been fixed for his examination under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Though it is contended that the daughter of the petitioner is unwell and requires surgical intervention, no document in support of such plea is placed on record.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
