Ahmed ... for the Burdwan University Copy of a communication dated 30.10.2024 sent by the Inspector of Colleges (Additional Charge), University of Burdwan as filed in Court is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had applied for renewal of affiliation for the session 2023-24 and then by e-mail for the session 202425, but the University has not renewed the affiliation for the said sessions.

Learned counsel for the University denies the allegations and relies on the communication filed today. He submits that as prayed for by the petitioner, affiliation has been renewed for the session 2023-24. No physical application has been received by the University about renewal of affiliation for the session 2024-25.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of grating liberty to the petitioner to formal pray for renewal of affiliation for the said session in physical mode within a week from this date. Upon receipt of such application, the University shall decide the question of renewal of affiliation for the session 2024-25 within four weeks therefrom.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
