Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the respondents have duly been served.

In spite of notice none appears for the State. Mr. Pantu Deb Roy, learned advocate who usually appears for the State is present in court and is requested to appear in this matter along with junior of his choice. Let appointment of Mr. Deb Roy along with his junior may be regularized by the Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this writ petition upon Mr. Deb Roy in course of this day. The petitioner alleges that no steps have been taken by the police authorities pursuant to a representation dated 12th of July, 2024. Without entering into the merits of the allegations contained in the representation, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Inspector-in-charge, Kultali Police Station to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12th July, 2024 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order. The said respondent shall communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

With the above observation and direction the writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties after completion of all necessary formalities.
