Heard learned advocates appearing for the parties.

Dispute arises in this writ petition relates to non-consideration of petitioner's application under Right to Information Act and against not providing the information asked for in her application in question. Petitioner submits that she has approached the appellate authority by a complaint dated 30th July, 2023, under Section 18(1) of the Right to Information Act.

Learned advocate for the respondent authority concerned submits that the aforesaid complaint of the petitioner is not an appeal and has been addressed to a wrong forum and even the original application under

Section 6 of the aforesaid Act has been addressed to the aforesaid forum.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition being WPA 20914 of 2023 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to file appeal under Section 19 of the Act before the appropriate appellate authority, within a period of two weeks from date and if such appeal is filed by the petitioner within the time stipulated herein, the same shall be considered on merit without raising the point of limitation and shall be disposed of in accordance with law.
