Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the application for interim maintenance is pending for a period of two years in connection with ACM 690 of 2021 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Alipore.

In view of the long stretch of time for which the said interim maintenance application is pending, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Alipore to take efforts for disposing of the application for interim maintenance on 11th September, 2023, the next date so fixed or within a fortnight thereafter, if required, the learned trial court will regularly fix dates of the case for disposal of the application for interim maintenance. After the decision in respect of the interim maintenance application the learned trial court in respect of main proceedings would fix one date in a month so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3266 of 2023 is

disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
