These two writ petitions were directed to be heard analogously by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. The learned Advocates-on-record for the petitioners in the respective writ petitions submit that the petitioner in each of the writ petitions do not want to proceed with the matter.

Written instructions addressed to their learned Advocates-on-record are filed in Court today. Let those be kept on record.

On the prayer of the learned Advocates for the petitioners let WPA No.22235 of 2017 and WPA 21606 of 2017

be dismissed for non-prosecution. All interim orders, if any, be vacated.

As the writ petitions are dismissed for non-prosecution, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is entitled to proceed in accordance with law.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. All parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
