1. The present petitions have been filed for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No. 669/2015 arising out of Barrackpore Women Police Station Case No. 11/2015 under Sections 498A/406/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and G.R. Case No. 6127/2016 arising out of Barrackpore Women Police Station Case No.

103/2016 under Sections 420/120B/468/469/471/467 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. Affidavit-of-service be taken on record.

3. The opposite party no. 2 has appeared in person and submits that the delay, in fact, has been caused by the petitioner and submits that the averments made are not

correct. However, without going into the same, the learned Trial Court is directed to conduct expeditious proceedings of the above-mentioned matters in accordance with law without giving an unnecessary adjournment.

4. The petition is dismissed.
