1. Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

2. Perused the case diary.

3. It appears from the injury report that the victim suffered serious injury on the scalp. Dressing was done and ten stitches were given. It appears that in the injury report only the names of the petitioner nos. 1, 3 and 4 were specifically mentioned, amongst the present petitioners, along with others.

4. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the alleged roles ascribed to the present petitioners and the fact that the injury report specifically contained the names of the petitioner nos. 1, 3 and 4 among the present petitioner along with the others, while I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner no. 2

(Saju Sharma), the application for anticipatory bail of petitioner nos. 1, 3 and 4 stands rejected.

5. In the event of arrest, the petitioner no. 2 shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the said petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses. The petitioner no. 2 shall meet the Investigating Officer once a fortnight till submission of report in final form.

6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed-in-part.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
