1. Today, the learned advocate for the alleged contemnor would submit that the contemnor was always inclined to comply with the directions passed by this Court. It is only because of an appeal filed at the behest of the private respondent that the issuance of the death certificate remains outstanding. He, however, submits since, there is no stay, the contemnor/municipality shall issue the death certificate within a period of two weeks from date.

2. Having regard thereto, let this matter be posted on 10th April, 2026.
