Petitioner complains that in spite of informing the police station, no steps have been taken.

Learned advocate for the State submits a report which reflects that Entally P.S. Case No.225 dated 10.09.2025 has been registered for investigation.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos.6 to 9 submits that the daughter-in-law has set the criminal law into motion obliquely. There has been constant torture inflicted by the daughter-in-law upon the inmates of the matrimonial home. To that effect, certain informations have already been furnished to the Officer-in-Charge, Entally Police Station. Medical reports have been enclosed along

with the information furnished to Entally Police Station. Attention of the Court has also been drawn by the private respondents regarding Entally P.S. Case No.209 of 2025 dated 19.08.2025.

Having considered that the petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by inaction of the police authorities and the police authorities have already registered FIR, I am of the opinion that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Accordingly, WPA 21338 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State and the documents submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the private respondents be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
