The petitioner has not been able to apply through 'AASAAN' portal for want of registration number for holding Durga Puja. The petitioner claims that he requires the registration number to be given by the local police.
The petitioner may approach the local police station in course of the day. If the petitioner satisfies all criteria, let a registration number be given to able the petitioner to apply on the 'AASAAN' portal itself. Needless to mention, the petitioner shall comply with all formalities as required for the purpose of any formal permission for holding of Durga Puja as per the norms of the State.
The local police shall act on the basis of a communication of the learned advocate on record of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
