The grievance of the petitioner pertains to non-consideration of an application dated April 20, 2023 filed pursuant to the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the following matters:

1. The EPFO & Anr. Etc. Vs. Sunil Kumar B. & Ors., SPJ © Nos. 8658-8659 of 2019.

2. R. C. Gupta and others Vs. Regional P.F. Commissioner and others, in Civil Appeal No(s) 10013-10014 of 2016 arising out of SLP No.33032-33033 of 2015, 2017 LLR 86 (SC).

It is fairly submitted on behalf of the PF authorities that in view of large number of such applications which have been filed by the petitioner and similarly situated persons such application should take approximately six months by the Appropriate Authorities to consider and dispose of.

In view of the above, there is no scope of passing any relief in the writ petition.

In such circumstances, WPA No. 21653 of 2024 stands disposed of in view of the submissions made on behalf of the respondent authorities.
