Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were falsely implicated. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there are criminal antecedents so far as the first petitioner is concerned. So far as other petitioners are concerned, as on date, he submits that there are no criminal antecedents in the police record.

Learned advocate appearing for the de facto complainant submits that the petitioners are part of a gang which defrauded members of the public. There are number of police cases pending. The first petitioner jumped bail. There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioners. There are criminal antecedents so are as the first petitioner is concerned. There is an issue of absconsion also.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. CRM (A) 4479 of 2022 is dismissed.
