Gupta, Ms. Moumita Dhar, Mr. Subham Banik ...for the petitioner Dr. Madhusudan Saha Roy, Mr. Debanjan Chatterjee ...for WBSEDCL Mr. Mir Anurruzzaman ...for the State Though the petitioner contends that the order dated 24th April, 2025 has not been complied with, it appears that WBSEDCL has discharged its responsibility by installing a meter at the relevant premises. It further appears that the petitioner has not effected the electricity connection from the main meter to his shop premises due to non-completion of the necessary electrical wiring.

The petitioner alleges that such wiring could not be carried out due to resistance from the promoters of the building. Respondent nos. 5 to 10, being the promoters, are not represented before this Court.

Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept on record.

I find no justification to keep this writ petition pending. The petitioner is directed to carry out the necessary electrical wiring in the presence of police personnel deputed by the Officer-in-Charge of Bali Police Station. The petitioner shall bear the costs of such police assistance.

The petitioner shall intimate the Officer-inCharge of Bali Police Station regarding the date on which he proposes to carry out the electrical wiring. On that date, the Officer-in-Charge shall depute the requisite number of police personnel at the relevant premises.

Accordingly, WPA 21316 of 2025 stands disposed of.
