The petitioners are praying implementation and/or execution of the order dated June 24, 2025 passed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tamluk Sub Division, Purba Medinipur, the respondent no.4 herein under Section 4 of the West Bengal Public Land (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1962. Mr. Indranuj Dutta learned advocate appears on behalf of the private respondent nos. 8,9,11-13. He submits that the respondent no.9, has preferred an appeal under Section 7 of the said Act of 1962 being Appeal No.17 of 2025 against the said order of respondent no.4 and the said appeal is pending. The direction as prayed for if passed may render the said appeal infructuous, however, the appellate authority is directed to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible. WPA 21246 of 2025 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
