The writ petition is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner participated in the 3rd Regional Level Selection Test for Recruitment of Non-teaching Staff 2016 and prayer has been made for appraisal of the candidature of the petitioner in order to grant appointment.

The learned advocate representing the Commission submits that the entire procedure under the aforesaid selection process has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court no order need be passed on this writ petition at this stage.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law in future, if situation so arises.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
