A submission was advanced on behalf of the learned advocate for the petitioner as well as that of the learned advocate for the private opposite party no.2 that compromise has been effected between the parties and as such, the proceedings may be quashed. Consequently, this court by an order dated 22nd March, 2022 called for a report from the concerned officer of Chakdah Police Station. A report has been submitted by the Inspector-in-Charge, Chakdah Police Station which contains both the copy of the further statement of the opposite party no. 2 and the self declaration of the opposite party no. 2. The said self-declaration as well as the further statement reflects that the complainant intends to continue with the litigation.

Having regard to the same, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for by this court in respect of the submissions advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties. Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 3016 of 2018 is dismissed.

All pending applications, if any, in connection with the revisional application, are consequently dismissed. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
