The petitioner submits that her mother first applied for appointment on compassionate ground as the father of the petitioner expired in 2013. However, the application was filed in 2014. This is the fourth writ petition.

Death-in-harness appointments are given to tie over the imminent crisis for the death of the sole bread earner of the family. Here the petitioner is waiting for last nine/ten years for getting the compassionate appointment and this shows that there was no imminent financial crisis for which appointment against death-in-harness can be given.

Therefore, I do not find any merit in this application and the application is dismissed. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
