Mr. Kuntal Banerjee ..For the Petitioner The petitioner has challenged an order of dismissal passed by the Disciplinary Authority on June 6, 2023. The petitioner preferred an appeal on June 22, 2023. Since the said appeal was pending adjudication, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

It is submitted by Mr. Banerjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that during the pendency of the writ petition, the final order has been passed by the Appellate Authority on August 19, 2023.

The same was received by the petitioner on August 22, 2023.

Therefore, the writ petition being W.P.A. 21061 of 2023 is dismissed as not pressed.

The petitioner will be at liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings, if so advised.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
