Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

None appears on behalf of the school.

3.

The petitioner, who is a retired teacher, is not getting his pension and terminal dues.

The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Bardhaman has forwarded a report wherefrom it appears that certain objection was raised with regard to the pension file of the petitioner. The school authority was requested to comply the objection raised but the same has not been done till date.

Prayer has been made to direct the District Inspector of Schools to disburse the terminal dues of the petitioner.

As the petitioner has retired from service on 30th June, 2025, accordingly, he would be entitled to receive his pension.

The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Bardhaman is directed to take up the issue with the school authority to make the pension file of the petitioner ready and ensure that the petitioner receives

his pension and terminal dues without any further delay.

The petitioner and the school authority are directed to cooperate with the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) for the purpose of complying with the direction passed hereinabove.

9.

The District Inspector of Schools shall take all necessary steps so that the petitioner receives his pension and all his terminal dues latest by 27th March, 2026.

10. The writ petition stands disposed of.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
