The petitioner was granted bail by this Court on December 17, 2024 subject to conditions, two of which being that he shall not enter the jurisdiction of Pursurah Police Station except for the purpose of attending the court proceedings and shall report to the Officer in Charge/ Inspector in Charge of the jurisdictional police station once a week until further orders.

Petitioner seeks relaxation of bail conditions on the ground that he has to travel to Bangalore for treatment of his four years old son who is suffering from a rare brain desease. The petitioner has complied with directions of the Court. Since the petitioner has been restrained from entering the jurisdiction of Pursurah Police Station and submits that he is residing within the jurisdiction of Tarakeshwar Police

Station at present, he may travel the Bangalore or elsewhere for the treatment of his son upon prior intimation to the concerned police station.

The bail condition directing the petitioner to report to the Officer-in-Charge/ Inspector in Charge of the jurisdictional police station once a week is waived. However, the other conditions of bail shall continue.

Accordingly, CRAN No. 1 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
