Copy of notice served upon the learned counsel appearing for the respondent be also kept with the record. The present writ application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of the Certificate Case being No. 50(M)/12-13.

On perusal of the materials on record, it appears that the Controlling Authority at Serampore, Hooghly passed an order in Gratuity Case No. G-46/2007 on 15.11.2010 granting gratuity in favour of the petitioner. The requisition for certificate was sent by the Controlling Authority to the Certificate Officer, Serampore, Hooghly on 17.05.2012 but since then there has been no progress in the certificate proceeding.

Hence, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the Certificate officer shall take all steps to dispose of the certificate proceeding in the present case within 60 days from the date of communication of this order.

The District Magistrate, Hooghly is requested to supervise the completion of the said certificate proceeding in accordance with law by the Certificate Officer as directed by this Court in the interest of justice. Petitioner is granted liberty to communicate the server copy of this order.

The writ application stands disposed of.

Consequently, pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities. (Shampa Dutt (Paul), J.)
