1. This public interest writ petition has been filed by the Bus Owners Association which is the first writ petitioner and the second writ petitioner is its Secretary.

2. This Association is stated to be registered under the provisions of the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961.

3. The petitioners seek for a direction upon the authorities to fix running timings of bus in consonance and upon consultation with the respective Bus Owners Association within the State of West Bengal.

4. Firstly, this writ petition cannot be treated as a public interest writ petition at the behest of the Bus Owners Association.

5. As rightly pointed out by the learned Government counsel, if there is any dispute with regard to the timings, there is a remedy available under Rule

119 of the West Bengal Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 and the aggrieved persons can always invoke in the said provision and which will be taken note of and decided by the Regional Transport Authority or if not by the State Transport Authority.
