1. Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the principal accused. He threw the victim on the ground resulting in fracture of his scalp and ultimate death. He does not stand on the same footing with co-accused who has been granted bail.

3. Keeping in mind the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to enlarge him on bail.

4. The prayer for bail stands rejected.

5. Trial be expedited.
