A detailed representation appears to have been made by the petitioners before the Managing Director of the West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation.

None represents the Tourism Development Corporation. The Court is not in a position to decide the issue conclusively in the absence of the said authority.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent - Managing Director, West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation - to take a decision on the petitioners' representation dated August 5, 2024 (Annexure P5, p.30) in accordance with the prevailing guidelines/circulars/notifications at the earliest but positively within a period of eight

weeks from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioners. A reasonable opportunity of hearing shall be afforded to the petitioners prior to final disposal of the representation.
