The petitioner is a retired Assistant Teacher of Bahadurpur High School (H.S.), District :

Murshidabad. On superannuation, he has retired from his said service on November 30, 2021. The petitioner complains delay in disbursement of his retiral benefits.

Mr. Dhole, learned Counsel for the State respondents submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, on September 15, 2023, the necessary Pension Payment Order has been issued in favour of the petitioner. He supplies a photocopy of such Pension Payment Order to Mr. Datta, learned Advocate for the petitioner, a copy thereof is also taken on record.

In view of such development, it is expected that the concerned Authority shall disburse all the retiral benefits including the pension to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two weeks from date.

W.P.A. 21455 of 2022 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
