The order dated 07.10.2024 reflects that an accommodation was sought for on behalf of the petitioner. Today, when the writ petition has been called, none represented the petitioner.

Petitioner is aggrieved as no steps were taken pursuant to the information which was furnished on or about 01.02.2024 with Frezergunj Police Station. As none appears on behalf of State, Mr.

Samrat Paul, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having considered that more than 17 months have passed since such representation was submitted, I direct that in case the inconvenience suffered by the petitioner still continues, a fresh representation be made to the Inspector-in-Charge, Frezergunj Police Station who would take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21816 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
