of dated 07.02.2025 as the investigation of the said case was pending, the accused persons were attempting to force the petitioner to withdraw the criminal case. To that effect, information was furnished before the Joypur Police Station, but, no steps have been taken.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that in connection with Joypur PS Case No. 35 of 2025, charge-sheet has been submitted on or about 28.02.2025.

Having considered that charge-sheet has already been submitted and the petitioner and his family members being the witness in the said case, the jurisdictional Magistrate would, on an attention being drawn by the petitioner, invoke the relevant provisions of the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018. The learned Magistrate will initially call a threat perception report, thereafter, decide the course of protection to be rendered to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21392 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
