Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner went to stop a free fight between two individuals.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the petitioner is running a liquor shop without license. There are criminal antecedents so far as the petitioner is concerned. He refers to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).

There are 161 Cr.P.C. statement implicating the petitioner in the incident.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 4502 of 2022 is dismissed.
