1. The Additional Director General of Police (Administration)-II, West Bengal has filed a report dated 12th May, 2023. The same is taken on record.

2. This Court appreciates the prompt action of the Additional Director General & Inspector General of Police, (Administration-II), West Bengal in issuing a Circular being Memo No. 337/Law Cell dated 4th May, 2023. A communication has also been issued to all the Superintendents of Police and Commissioners of Police, Additional Directors General of Police and Deputy Inspectors General of Police etc. on 10th May, 2023. The Circular requires all the Police Stations to strictly comply with all the civil courts' orders.

3. The Inspector General of Police is requested to pursue strict compliance of the Circular by all the Commissioners of Police, Superintendents of Police and other personnel to whom the Circular has been issued.

4. Superintendent of Police, Baruipur Police District has also filed a report dated 15th May, 2023 which is kept with the record.

5. It appears therefrom that the Sub-Inspector concerned of Canning Police Station has been dealt with departmentally.

6. In view of the aforesaid, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition and the same shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
