And In Re : Ankit Yadav ...... petitioner Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty ....for the petitioner Mr. Sudip Kumar ....for the State The injury report of the victim suggests that the victim suffered number of cut injuries including a complete cut off of the ear cartilage. The petitioner is one of the persons named in the injury report as the person who assaulted the victim. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 4510 of 2022 is dismissed.
