A copy of such report has been supplied to Mr. Mukherjee, learned Advocate for the petitioners in course of hearing of this writ petition.

The National Highway Authority of India is also represented.

It appears from the report that the awards as well as other information have also been disclosed in the said report. Mr. Mukherjee, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that there may be some petitioners whose awards have not been included in the said report. It will be open to the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioners to intimate the junior of Mr. Mukherjee,

learned Additional Government Pleader mentioning the names of the petitioners whose names have not been included in the award disclosed in the report.

If such a request is made, the competent authority shall furnish the same to the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioners within two weeks from the receipt of such request, or communicate the reasons for non-supply of the same, as the case may be.

Section 3G(5) of the National Highway Act states that if the amount determined by the competent authority under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) is not acceptable to the party, the amount shall, on the application filed by the petitioners, be determined by the arbitrator to be appointed by the Central Government.

Since the amount has been determined by the competent authority under Section 3G(1) or 3G(2) of the 1956 Act and the awards have also been disclosed, WPA 21362 of 2025 stands disposed of by leaving the petitioners free to avail of the remedies available under the National Highway Act, 1956 if the petitioners or anyone of them are aggrieved by the amount of compensation determined by the competent authority.

With the above observation and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
