1. The writ petitioners allege that the Prodhan of the respondent Panchayat has committed various illegalities in the matter of utilization of the funds allocated under the IT Finance Commission.

2. In this regard, a representation has been submitted on 12th August, 2024 to all the authorities which is shown to have delivered in the office of the respondents during August, 2024.

3. The petitioners ought to have waited for some more reasonable time before moving the writ petition since the authority has said to have received only between 16.08.2024 and 19.08.2024.

4. Nevertheless, since the representation has been given, we direct the District Magistrate, Nadia to consider the representation dated 12th August, 2024, conduct an enquiry after notice to all concerned and proceed to take action in accordance with law.

5. In order to facilitate the compliance of the above direction, the petitioners are directed to appear in person in the office of the District Magistrate, Nadia and submit a copy of the representation and other annexures along with a copy of this order.

6. The District Magistrate, Nadia shall comply with the above direction within 12 weeks from the date on which the representation is submitted.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
