Mr. Banerjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he has been working as a Sub-staff of the Bank of India, Rampurhat Branch since April 2014. He has been earning a remuneration of Rs.466/- per day.

Suddenly, he has been discontinued from service with effect from February 16, 2023. A representation was made by the petitioner on July 3, 2023. However, such representation has not been considered by the respondent no.3/the General Manager, Bank of India. Mr. Majumder, learned counsel appears on behalf of Bank of India.

Considering the rival submissions of the parties and the materials placed on record, this Court is of the view that justice will be sub-served by directing the representation of the petitioner dated July 3, 2023 to be considered by the Branch Manager, Bank

of India/respondent no.2 or any other authority delegated by him and disposed of by passing a reasoned order within 10 weeks from date. Such reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within 2 weeks of passing thereof. With the directions aforesaid, WPA 21186 of 2023 is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been directed to be exchanged in the writ petition, the allegations contained therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
